Serving Utah (both in-person and telehealth), Colorado, and Idaho via telehealth.
My Therapeutic Approach…
Healing happens when you feel safe, supported, and understood. My approach is warm, steady, and grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity to reconnect with themselves and move toward wholeness.
How I show up in therapy
My approach is warm, steady, and grounded. I move at your pace, listen deeply, and create a space where you can breathe, settle, and reconnect with yourself. I believe we are shaped by our relationships, and we heal through safe, supportive connection. Healing happens when you feel safe, supported, seen, heard, respected, and valued. My role is to offer a steady presence and a secure connection, so you don’t have to navigate your healing alone.
How I Support You in Session
I use a flexible, integrative approach that adapts to what you need in the moment. I don’t follow a rigid model or overwhelm you with techniques. Instead, I blend approaches in a way that feels natural, supportive, and grounded.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is one of the main tools I use to help your brain process difficult memories without reliving them. I also incorporate somatic and body‑based work to help you understand what your nervous system is communicating and to support grounding in your body.
From there, I pull in pieces of different approaches — skills from CBT or DBT, parts‑aware work, and tools from my training in body work and sound therapy — but only when they genuinely support your goals. My focus is always on helping you feel more regulated, connected, and empowered, not overwhelmed by techniques or terminology.
How I Support Your Healing
I believe healing involves both the mind and the body. Our thoughts, emotions, and nervous system responses are connected, and each one carries pieces of your story. I help you understand the patterns that were created to protect you, and together we explore what still serves you and what no longer does. My goal is to help you heal, build regulation, clarity, and connection so you can move through life with more ease and confidence.
Meet Louise
I’ve spent more than twenty years supporting people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives, and the heart of my work has always been connection. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in roles that taught me how deeply people need to feel seen, heard, respected, safe, and supported—especially when life has been overwhelming or painful. For the past four years as a therapist, I’ve focused on helping children, teens, and adults heal from trauma and reclaim a sense of safety in their bodies and relationships.
I’m drawn to this work because I believe healing happens in the presence of someone who is steady, compassionate, and genuinely invested in your well‑being. It’s an honor to walk alongside people as they make sense of their experiences, reconnect with their strengths, and build the kind of life and relationships they deserve.
